Heartsaver CPR/AED and Choking Certification (AHA)
Class teaches how to assess and treat injuries and medical or environmental emergencies until professional help arrives. Skills focus on keeping the rescuer safe, while providing life-saving assistance to the patient in a variety of scenarios. Students also learn proper CPR techniques, how and when to use an AED (automated external defibrillator) and how to relieve choking for adults, children and infants. Use of a barrier device to prevent contamination during rescue breathing is also addressed.

BLS Blended Skills Session – Price $75 (Includes Key, Skills Session and Card – 30 minute Session)
This self-paced online American Heart Association course is accessible anytime (24 hours a day) and takes approximately 90 minutes to complete. The course is divided into three parts. Part 1 delivers the cognitive learning through online modules. A Certificate of Completion is printed by the student after successful completion of the online Part 1 modules. This certificate must be presented to the instructor upon arrival at the practice and skills check session. For Parts 2 and 3, students meet with an AHA instructor to complete a hands-on skills practice session and a skills test.
